This website is intended to keep you up to date on assignments, provide links for extra practice, and give you a highlight

This week's lesson focuses on food and Mexican cuisine. We will be exploring this concept by creating
our own Mexican restaurant menus. After we discuss typical Mexican dishes we will watch a brief video on more authentic Mexican
food. Let me tell you- there is much more to Mexican food than Taco Bell! Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday we will be
in the computer lab creating our own unique menus that we will share with the class on Friday. By the end of this lesson you
will have learned 25 new food vocabulary words in Spanish!

Extra Credit Opportunity
If you are looking for a fun way to earn some extra points consider doing one of
the following two extra credit assignments:
1. Go to a Mexican Restaurant
and order your food in Spanish. A picture must be provided along with a description of what you ordered.
2. Prepare a popular Mexican
dish and bring it to class. I have listed 3 different recipies for you to use.
